Grant Awarded by the Associated Chamber Music Players (ACMP)

July 5, 2017 – Crescendo has been awarded a grant by the Associated Chamber Music Players (ACMP) to support need-based scholarships for our Academic Year Chamber Music program. The mission of ACMP is to stimulate and expand the playing of chamber music for pleasure among musicians of all ages and skill levels, worldwide, by connecting people and supporting chamber music activities for individuals, groups and institutions. Since 1994, the ACMP Foundation, “has awarded more than 3,000 grants totaling over four million dollars in support of chamber music activities around the world, including home coaching for ACMP members, community music programs, chamber music workshops, and other special initiatives. These programs promote, enrich, and encourage the playing of chamber music now and for the future.”

Like Crescendo, ACMP is a member of the National Guild for Community Arts Education. As a National Guild member, Associated Chamber Music Players is committed to making high quality arts education accessible to all.
