BAM: Black American Music Ensemble

Led by jazz musicians Jesse Lemons, trumpet, and Zollie Schut, percussion, topics covered will include Black American Music repertoire and history, beginning/intermediate Improvisation, and rehearsal/performance etiquette. Students will develop self-confidence and musicality as they work together as a group.

A minimum of one year of private lessons or school ensemble experience is required; all instruments are welcome. For ages 11-18.
